Expanding Your Awareness of Experiences​

This new moon I share with you an offering of personal insights about how I work with tracking the mystery of life/becoming, to heal and integrate peripheral energy from separation paradigms into sacred union wholeness, automatically dissolving what cannot exist on the natural sovereign throne of our being of powerful expansive love.  May this lotus flower seed medicine continue to blossom and bloom within us all, nourishing our full-spectrum sensual soul-spirit-being-body!

I hear the community of Cicadas all around me these summer mornings, communicating, broadcasting... Cicadas spend many years underground as nymphs, starving their predators before emerging as adults and overwhelming the remaining predators. To me this message I receive from this personal visit is a personal and collective one of emergence. Honoring our incubation periods and encouraging our time to shine and lead our song in chorus. There is a collective wave of emergence happening, of edges and boundaries and structures shifting and forming and dissolving, expanding and being created in new old ways.
Historically, folk stories and the mythology of cicadas represent freedom, life and immortality.
To me they also represent our place in community, connection to self and other, and being confident in our purpose during the different stages of our life cycles, and embracing the joyful liberation in that knowing.
This one cicada emerged, quiet and beautiful in its stillness, silent as the world of her community sang loud. In this way I think she teaches me to be okay with states of my being where I can emerge and be “seen and not heard” - in the sacred ways and rhythms of my nature. She broadcasts the sacred by existing and simply being present.

This cicada continues to bring forth a medicine of being seen and shedding her shell. 

Now, onward, I continue to dance a sacred dance of liberating joy within my body every time I hear and listen to the musical medicine of these cicadas!
